30 Weeks and a lot of fun!

I'm 30 weeks old now and look at me!!

Here's me and Daddy.  Mommy thinks we look alike.  I think I'm prettier than him though.

Daddy likes to read to us some times.  I'm showing Julia the words on the page.  She's doing a great job paying attention.

Some times I pretend I'm in a boat.  I was singing Row Row Row Your Boat.

Auntie Jun and Serena came by during the week to drop off Elliot's belated birthday present.  Look at us all sitting pretty!

Mommy said I was doing a pretty good fob squat.
On Sunday, my parents took us to the Bay Area Discovery Museum.  They had heard from Auntie Monnette and Uncle Marc (at separate times) that it was a fun place to go.  And since the weather was going to be nice, we went!  There were a lot of things to do there, and we didn't even get to all of it.  But I made the most of my time there.

Auntie Nat came with us too, and here we are drawing with chalk on the floor.

Daddy was trying to teach me how to hula hoop.  It didn't work, but at least I tried.

Check out my new friend that Daddy made!

This was a pretty neat exhibit.  It had all these rings around poles and when you bring them up, they spin down the ridged poles and made noise.  I was entranced.

They had this cool area where we could explore what it might be like to be different animals living in their habitats.

I got to play too!  Mommy took me into a different exhibit which had life sized sets of different types of fairy tales.

There was a mini slide there too.  Mommy didn't let me go down by myself.  Good thing too, because I think I would've fallen down.

Like my throne?  I'm not sure how I feel about it yet, but nonetheless, you need to kneel before me.

This was a pretty cushy flower chair.

HELP!!!  I'm in a bucket for some reason!

While Julia was busy, Daddy and I and Auntie Nat explored the rest of the place.  Here I am on top of a boat exhibit.

What's down there?

Cheese!  Mommy said that I look a lot like Daddy here.

I'm trying to steer us back to shore!  Umph!

I think my favorite part was this area.  Like my form?  I spent about 40 minutes here, shoveling gravel into dump trucks.

When Mommy came looking for us, she saw the area with the trucks and thought we'd be here.  She was right.

My parents really like this picture of me.  I was soo happy.  I had so much fun at the museum.  I can't wait to go back.

Elliot's not the only one with a hard hat.  Sorry for the blurry picture.

Mommy didn't have time to post this last week, but here's a video of Meagan and me playing.

Anyways, sorry for the long post but we hope you enjoyed looking at all the pictures.  We sure had fun this week!  Until next time!

  1. Whoa! That museum looks extremely fun... I hope they have something like that down here! Your dad made you quite a tall new friend, Elliot!

I think your ol' uncle has a picture in a hollow tree trunk as well! Those things are always fun.

Julia, still cute as a button! Great job paying attention to story time.
