21 Weeks, 35 Months and Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone and Happy Birthday to our Auntie Nathalie!  Most of you have seen this picture, so here it is again for posterity sake.

This was also on the Christmas card but Mommy wanted to put it up also.

Many of you have seen this one too.  I was soo busy talking to Santa that this is the only picture we have of me looking at the camera.

Mommy bought this print too because it was funny to her.  Although I was finally smiling, I wasn't looking at the camera, and Julia was looking somewhere else altogether.

Christmas eve I made cookies for Santa.  My parents told me that if we leave cookies out for him, he'll give me a present.  They also said I had to be a good boy, which I always am.

We all went to church on Christmas day.  Daddy couldn't resist kissing me.

And Mommy was able to make me smile.

Before opening presents, we took pictures with the birthday Auntie.

And one with our parents too.  Mommy said something about needing to work on my smile.  I don't know what's wrong with it.

Christmas was soo fun.  I got a lot of presents.  I think it's about as good as a birthday.  I really enjoyed opening the presents.  My favorite toy was the one my grandparents gave me...a digger that actually moves!!!

Look at how adept I am at opening presents!

Here I'm opening a cool present from Uncle Eric and Auntie Colleen.  Thanks!  See the Cars slippers?  Julia gave them to me!

My parents got me a ukelele!  So neat.  Too bad neither of them know how to play it.  That's ok.  I'll show them how to do it.

I also got to help Auntie blow her birthday candles.

Seems like you had all the fun, Elliot.  Just wait until next Christmas when I have more control of my extremities and start opening presents too.  Speaking of extremities, I may be a little hungry here.

I really like grabbing my feet when I get the chance.  It's not often since it's been cold and my parents keep me bundled up.
I also like hanging out in Elliot's room.  He has a lot of things to look at in his room.  I wonder when my parents are going to decorate my room.  Talk about second child syndrome already!

LOOK AT ME DRIVING THE LOADER!!!!!
I am soo excited.  These trucks were in the plaza where we had lunch on Saturday, and of course, Daddy took me to go see them.

 Ah Elliot...you and your trucks.

Before I took a nap, I thought I'd try this new look wearing my pull-up.  Like it? I think I could be a model.

Mommy's coworker made this hat for me.  Isn't it cute?  I better wear it more often because I'm already growing out of it.

We hope you and your loved ones had a fabulous holiday!  We are very thankful for our family and all the people who love us.  We hope to see you in the new year!

20 weeks and Holiday Show!

Now that I'm 20 weeks old, I like to chill in Mommy's feeding pillow.  Well, not really.  Daddy put me in this so that I wouldn't move while he went to do something, and since I was content, Mommy took a picture of me when she saw me.

I do like to smile, though Mommy thinks I smile more with Daddy than with her.  Mommy, you just have to look funnier, that's all.

Arrgghh...I like chewing on my fingers, even when I'm taking a bath.

Look how high I am on Daddy's shoulders!

Mommy thinks I may be close to rolling over.  I don't know about that.  But I do like twisting my head this way to look at things some times.

Apparently I need to do more tummy time.  I'm not getting enough practice when my grandparents are taking care of me.  I don't like tummy time though.

We had a holiday show at my preschool.  Like my bow tie?  We sang Jingle Bells.

Mommy couldn't get me to smile and look at the camera at the same time.  Oh well.

Help!  I fell over onto Elmo!  Mommy made me smile though so I didn't fuss.

 CHEESE!

Look at me!  I'm really good at riding a tricycle now!

Grandpa took care of both Julia and me on Friday since my preschool was closed.  I was being a good boy and ate all the rice by myself.  It's a big deal because I normally don't feel like eating.
I told you I like sucking on my fingers.

We hope you enjoyed this week's pictures.  Christmas is next week and Elliot tells me it's a lot of fun!

19 weeks!

I had my 4 month check up this past week.  I now weigh 14 lbs 5 oz  (60th percentile), am 25.25" long (75th percentile) and my head circumference is 42cm (75th percentile).  Apparently, the percentiles I've been reporting are from the CDC graphs (more relevant for children over age 2 yrs) which is not the same as the graphs my doctor uses (WHO graphs--more relevant to children under 2 yrs).  If I use those numbers, then the percentiles are different.  49th for weight, 75th for height, and 80th for head.  Great, does that mean I have to report both percentiles now?  Either way, my parents are happy that I'm doing so well.  I guess that means I'm not really that big of a girl after all.

Great Uncle Zadig was in town for business, but really, he just wanted to meet ME!

Mommy was tickling me in the car seat while we were at the restaurant.

This is my car transporter from last week.  You can't really see, but Percy the train is one of the vehicles that is being transported.

Mommy took us to the mall to take pictures with the decorations.  I'm stylin!

She also wanted one of the two of us.  It's hard for me to hold her and look at Mommy and smile at the same time.
 Funny picture, huh.

We went to Alex's birthday party this weekend and here I am with Auntie Monnette.

Isn't Alex's cake cool?  Auntie Monnette made it for him.
I'm helping Alex blow out the last candle.
Another week in the books.  Mommy tells me she has one more week of work left, and then she gets to spend 2 weeks with both Elliot and me.  Yay!

4 Months old!

Can you believe I'm 4 months old already?  My parents can't.  They say it's going by really fast!

I don't think my mouth is big enough to fit both my hands but I do try to make it work still.

As you saw in our previous week's post, we bought a Christmas tree.  My parents let me hang a few ornaments up.

I can be so happy some times.

I can't believe my parents are putting this picture up.  Not nice!

I KNOW I'm wearing my fireman hat backwards.  It's a new style.

We went to Meagan's house for a Christmas party and here I am with Auntie Ketty and Uncle Stephen.  My parents were trying to get me to smile, but I wasn't in the mood.

Auntie Ketty couldn't stop holding me.  I didn't mind though. She's so pretty.

We got to open one present early.  I wonder what Meagan is getting.

WOW!  I got a car transporter!  Thanks, Mom and Dad! I spent the rest of the night playing with this.

We're on time with our post this week.  I think that talk with my parents worked.  See you next week!  Julia will have her check up and we'll have an update on how she's growing then!
