21 Weeks, 35 Months and Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone and Happy Birthday to our Auntie Nathalie!  Most of you have seen this picture, so here it is again for posterity sake.

This was also on the Christmas card but Mommy wanted to put it up also.

Many of you have seen this one too.  I was soo busy talking to Santa that this is the only picture we have of me looking at the camera.

Mommy bought this print too because it was funny to her.  Although I was finally smiling, I wasn't looking at the camera, and Julia was looking somewhere else altogether.

Christmas eve I made cookies for Santa.  My parents told me that if we leave cookies out for him, he'll give me a present.  They also said I had to be a good boy, which I always am.

We all went to church on Christmas day.  Daddy couldn't resist kissing me.

And Mommy was able to make me smile.

Before opening presents, we took pictures with the birthday Auntie.

And one with our parents too.  Mommy said something about needing to work on my smile.  I don't know what's wrong with it.

Christmas was soo fun.  I got a lot of presents.  I think it's about as good as a birthday.  I really enjoyed opening the presents.  My favorite toy was the one my grandparents gave me...a digger that actually moves!!!

Look at how adept I am at opening presents!

Here I'm opening a cool present from Uncle Eric and Auntie Colleen.  Thanks!  See the Cars slippers?  Julia gave them to me!

My parents got me a ukelele!  So neat.  Too bad neither of them know how to play it.  That's ok.  I'll show them how to do it.

I also got to help Auntie blow her birthday candles.

Seems like you had all the fun, Elliot.  Just wait until next Christmas when I have more control of my extremities and start opening presents too.  Speaking of extremities, I may be a little hungry here.

I really like grabbing my feet when I get the chance.  It's not often since it's been cold and my parents keep me bundled up.
I also like hanging out in Elliot's room.  He has a lot of things to look at in his room.  I wonder when my parents are going to decorate my room.  Talk about second child syndrome already!

LOOK AT ME DRIVING THE LOADER!!!!!
I am soo excited.  These trucks were in the plaza where we had lunch on Saturday, and of course, Daddy took me to go see them.

 Ah Elliot...you and your trucks.

Before I took a nap, I thought I'd try this new look wearing my pull-up.  Like it? I think I could be a model.

Mommy's coworker made this hat for me.  Isn't it cute?  I better wear it more often because I'm already growing out of it.

We hope you and your loved ones had a fabulous holiday!  We are very thankful for our family and all the people who love us.  We hope to see you in the new year!

  1. Elliot, you can definitely be a model! You can model hats with that fabulous head of yours. And Julia, don't worry about being a second child. Your mommy was a second child and she turned out normal...sort of. Merry Christmas from Alyssa, Ashley, Auntie Jen and your favorite uncle in the whole wide world.
