Week 49 Happy New Year! December 27th-January 2nd 2011

This week was extra special.  Both Mommy and Daddy were home with me and it's a new year.  Happy New Year everyone!  I'm not sure I know what that means though.

Check out my hair.  Daddy was drying it after a bath.  Mommy says I look like a Hong Kong movie star.

We went to have Vietnamese food with my cousin Alyssa.

Look at my new hat!  Yes, another one, because the other red one was misplaced at the mall.  Mommy was very bummed about it because she said I look like a lumberjack in that hat.  What's a lumberjack?

Another day, we met up with Uncle Jerry, Auntie Oahn, and Perry.  It's been a while since Auntie Oahn saw me.

Grandma and Grandpa came back from Hong Kong too.  We all surprised them at the airport.  I hadn't seen them for two weeks but I smiled at them once I saw them.

Auntie Nathalie was there too, but she was taking the picture so she's not in it.

We went to New Year's Eve dinner and thought we'd compare sizes between me and Alyssa.  I'm much bigger! though I AM about 8 months older too.

We caught Auntie Colleen and Uncle Eric on our way back home.  I told them we needed to take a picture together.  I was getting tired though, so looking at the camera was the last thing on my mind.

It's the new year and I'm on Daddy's shoulders!

I also like to play peek-a-boo with Mommy.  I do this when I wake up in the morning too.

Grandma and Grandpa are trying to teach me how to play mah-jong.

I'd rather just throw the cubes around.

I found Daddy's wallet...I wonder how much money I can shake from this?

The next day was Daddy's birthday, his first as a daddy.  Happy Birthday Daddy!  We had lunch with some friends.  It isn't all about me (but really it is), but Meagan is giving me a belated Christmas present.  Thanks!

Auntie Amelia said that I'm not a messy eater so she wanted to feed me.

Later that evening, we had dinner with Grandma, Grandpa, and Auntie Nathalie to celebrate Daddy's birthday again.  Grandpa was helping me walk.  I was really enjoying it (check out my tongue).  Waaassssuuuuuppp?

Mommy and Daddy said this was a practice run for me for my birthday.

Happy Birthday Daddy!  I hope you had a great day!

  2. Elliot, make sure you dig a little deeper into daddy's wallet. You'll find lots of fun things in there for you to pull out. We miss you lots already. Come down and visit Alyssa when you can.
