February 21st, 2011

Hello all!  It's been a couple of weeks so it's about time I posted again.  I know you're missing the weekly updates.  Sorry.

First off, a couple of weeks ago, I saw my cousin Alyssa again.  Her family was on their way to Pensacola, Florida and they stopped by San Francisco first.  Alyssa is a happy baby.  I think she wants to stand, like me.

Next Uncle Juan visited again with Daddy.  I'm totally used to him as I don't even hesitate to lean over to him to be carried.

This past weekend, we had some special guests from Boston come visit.  Uncle Willy and Auntie Karen (!) came again and stayed with us.  So on Saturday, we had a quick potluck with some people who wanted to visit with them.

Here I am playing with Zach.

I was feeling under the weather so I didn't play with Lucas, but he had a good time with my toys.

The next day, Auntie Monnette, Uncle Brian, and my buddy Alex came over to visit with all of us.  Alex seems unsure of me, now that I'm standing as tall as he is.  I think he's used to me being on the ground and immobile.

Slowly but surely, I'm catching up.  He's running around though, so I still have a ways to go.

Finally some pictures with our house guests.  Here I am with Auntie Karen!  She was so happy to finally meet me.  We spent lots of time together this weekend.

And a picture with both Uncle and Auntie.

After everyone left, I was off wandering around the house.  I went looking for a ball when I crawled under one of our counter stools...

...and got stuck.  Get me out!!!

Until next time!

  1. Yaaaaaay, I finally, finally, FINALLY got to meet you, Elliot! You are even cuter in person and I can't wait to see you again in July when we come out for Auntie Jun's wedding. Thank you for sharing your mommy and daddy with us all weekend and for letting us stay in your house. Big hugs from Boston and we hope you're feeling better!

  2. The self-trapping move under the bar stool is too funny! He hasn't done it since, maybe he learned?!
