28 Month Birthday!

Happy 28 Months birthday to me!  It's been a rather calm month, as compared to the action packed one last month.  One weekend, Grandma and Grandpa wanted to hang out, so we went to the Stanford Shopping Mall to walk around.  Daddy was working, so he didn't get to join us.  But here I am taking a picture with Grandma.

I like copying how Grandpa walks.

Like my new jammies?  Mommy bought this for me a while ago, and we had some chillier nights earlier this month, so I wore these.  So fancy and grown up looking.
One weekend we went to Meagan's house.  She has this cool play house in the backyard.  I was super engrossed in scooping and pouring the pebbles into different containers.  My parents barely even saw me the couple of hours we were there. I was super content.

Alyssa came to visit again.  I was really into this new truck that our grandparents got, so I wasn't paying much attention to her at this point.  But we were initially both super excited when we first saw each other.  She had a big smile when she saw me and said "HI!" and started running towards me.  What can I say?  I'm popular.
Here's a big family picture.  I was getting a bit grouchy because I was tired and I only wanted Mommy to carry me.  Poor Mommy.  I think it's hard for her to carry me now that my little sibling is getting bigger and bigger in her tummy.  Maybe I'm just staking my claim and letting the baby know what's what.

Mommy made me a papaya, strawberry, and yogurt smoothie.  I really liked it.  Like my mustache?
Near the end of the month, we went to Auntie Rita and Uncle Jim's place for our get-together.  It's been a while since we last saw each other.  We kids had a blast running around and chasing each other.  Even Avery joined in on the fun!  She's totally mobile now, though not as fast as me.  And I'm not nearly as fast as Zachary.

Finally, me relaxing on a blanket at daycare.  We had a family day picnic that day, though Daddy couldn't come.  If I find a picture of me and Mommy, I'll post one next time.

Things are just chugging along.  I'm pretty good with the potty training at home (other than nap time and bed time).  I tell my parents when I need to use the potty.  I still haven't done that consistently at school yet though.  I've also had rougher mornings, when I hit and push my friends.  Mommy and Daddy have to remind me everyday not to hit or push anyone.  I still forget though.  My parents hope it's just a phase.

I'm also sleeping in a big boy bed now.  My parents bought me a twin size mattress and I really like it.  They've been saying, "so far so good," though I don't know what could possibly be a problem with me sleeping on a bed that I can climb in and out of.  Anyone?

  1. The mustache picture is so CUTE!

Zach and Avery had a blast running around with you too! Hopefully we'll get to do that again soon before your sibling pops out and keeps you all really busy. I couldn't believe how skinny you're getting! Guess all that moving around is a good exercise program.

Don't worry about the hitting, it's just a phase and it'll come back sporadically. I would be more worried about the child that doesn't fight back. ;)

  2. Love the picture of E copying grandpa, too cute! I'm glad the cousins get excited to see each other, that's sweet. Hope potty aiming continues to make good progress and that daddy can stop working so hard.

  3. You are growing up so fast! I do hope I can have more time to spend with you soon!

  4. Elliot, make sure you keep copying grandpa's walk. Alyssa can't wait to see you again!!
