2.5 years old!

I'm 2.5 years old now!  Being home with Mommy a couple of extra days a week has been fun.  There's definitely more documentation of things I'm doing and getting myself into.

One of the things we did since the last posting was go to Pier 39.  It was Grandma's idea for us to go see the sea lions.  They're behind us in this picture, but I did get to see and hear them.
At home, I still like playing with bubbles, this time with Daddy!

Avery was borrowing my old car seat for some time, but we got it back so we can use it for the new baby when it comes.  I think I may just keep this instead of letting the baby use it.
I had my first swim lesson of the season.  It's indoors this time, so hopefully I won't be as cold.  This time I get to go with Daddy and I really enjoyed it!

Look at the smile on my face!
We never did THIS at the other swim lesson last year.  It was cool.

I'm also good at singing "Itsy Bitsy Spider".

Mommy let me play with her guitar.  I didn't even know she had one!  All this time she had been hiding it until the other day when she took it out so I can play with it.  I REALLY liked it, and didn't want her to put it away.

We missed the fireworks for July 4th, as I ended up with a fever.  I also missed daycare the rest of the week.  But during the weekend, since I was feeling better, my parents took me to Lemos Farm again.  I haven't been there since October.

I still like riding on this coin operated train.  I had to do it twice, and even then, I didn't want to get off.

I also got to ride on the pony again, though I only went when Daddy said he'd come with me.
And of course, who can resist a BIG tractor??

Or a digger?  This was harder to manage, and Daddy had to help me figure out how to move the arm so that it scoops up the gravel.
I really enjoyed my time there, and as you can tell, I like relaxing in my car seat too.

One day Daddy decided to load up his office chair and ME with a lot of my toys.  Can you find me?

What's that on my head, you ask?  Oh, just my underwear.  But Daddy was the one who put it there.

I like helping around the house.  Except now, the dustpan is my big bulldozer.

Another weekend my parents took me to the Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo.  Mommy has never been there before, but I went once with Daddy and my friend Vivi.  I liked riding on the animals.

Here's a picture of me last September or so on the lion, and here I am now.  Do I look bigger?

I also like petting them.  They don't move away from me when I come, which is nice.

Next to the museum is a park, and I went down some slides.  It was so fun!

After that trip, we had dinner with Grandma and Grandpa.  I got to drive Grandpa's car!
I think he was a little offended that I called his car a Toyota.  Sorry, Grandpa.  I'm still learning!
Look how cool I am!  I'm driving a forklift.  Well, not really, but a nice man from Costco let me and Daddy play with one.
Do you see the other man on the yellow part?  I bet you he was scared I'd somehow figure out how to turn it on and move him around.

Maybe I should work at Costco.  I was helping out in the tire center too.

Great Auntie Susanna came to visit me.  She was in town for work, and made a point to see me before she had to leave the next morning.  I was so enamored with her, I was willing to leave with her and my grandparents to go out WITHOUT either of my parents!  But in the end, Grandma made Daddy come with us in case I started getting antsy, which I did, since it was waaay passed my bedtime.
Well, that's it for this month.  The next week or so should be very interesting as I welcome my little brother or sister into our family.  I'll try to keep you posted.  I think this will be the last post on this blog that will be all about me, so I hope you enjoyed it.

29 months birthday and visitors, oh my!

Happy 29  months to me!  Get ready for lots of pictures!

Mommy forgot to post this picture last month, but when we were at Meagan's house, I was all about playing with her car.  I'm leaving Lucas in the dust right now.

My parents took me to the Magic Mountain Playground one weekend.  I love the slides.

Here I am hiding in a dinosaur egg.  Peek-a-boo.

We had a lot of visitors this month.  Great Auntie Annie and Great Uncle Jeffrey came to visit.  I hadn't seen them in a while, but after a little while, I warmed up to them.

And yes, I'm smiling like this again.

Another weekend we went to see baby Milo and Auntie Kristine.  I haven't seen a baby that small in a long time, since we visited Alyssa when she was tiny.

Great Uncle Paul and Great Auntie Leona were here for a visit too.

That same weekend, we saw Uncle John. I still think he's funny.  I showed him my cool red jeep.  He was impressed.

Snuggle time with Mommy!

I was introduced to bubble wrap by Daddy.  It was loads of fun!

Me being silly with my silly smile.

I LOVE playing with my tunnel, and Daddy and I found a new way to play with it.
Uncle Chris and Uncle Tawn came to visit again.  I saw them last month when they first came from Thailand but didn't get pictures with them.  They wanted to see me again (what can I say??? I am famous) before they return to Thailand.

Mommy and Daddy took me to the park by our house one weekend.  The neighborhood kids were nice and let me play with their football.  I really liked it.  I didn't want to let it go, even when I went on the swings.

Mommy is finally off of work!  I'll be spending more time with her (hence, all the great pictures), though I'll also (apparently) still be going to daycare too.  But her first day off, we went to see Alex!  He has a new baby brother Aidan, though I was more interested in Alex and his toys.
 Me with my smile again.
Me relaxing at a restaurant with my new haircut.

Daddy and I are a bit engrossed by what was on TV.
Oh oh! Naked Baby falling into a crack!  By the way, the sticker on my forehead was because I pooped in the potty at school.  My teacher gave it to me.

Here's a picture of me walking Rocky.  I think it's the only one we have of the two of us.
Mommy took me to CuriOdyssey one Friday.  I had a chance meeting with a new friend named Kieran.  Apparently, my mommy and his mommy were in Auntie Rita's wedding together back before I was born.  They haven't seen each other since then.

I think this might be too big for me.

It was super hot Father's Day weekend, so my parents let me play with the water table.  I love playing with that.

Speaking of Father's Day, people are saying that I'm looking more and more like Daddy.  I really don't see the resemblance.  Do you?

Grandma and Mommy took me to San Francisco on a Monday.  What was special about that was that it was my first BART ride.  I was SO excited about that.

And apparently in San Francisco, there are these things called cable cars, and I got to take pictures in one of them.

Another day, Mommy gave me a tortilla to eat.  Like how I eat it?

Ooh!  A bin to play in!

Some times I just wanna snuggle with Mommy...even if my head is smushing hers.

It was Grandpa's birthday on Sunday.  Happy birthday, Grandpa!  I helped him blow out the candles.

This month has been full of visitors and activities.  It was very eventful.  As a closing comment, I wanted to let you know that Rocky is no longer with us.  Mommy said he went to a place called doggy heaven.  I'm not sure I understand it, since I do call out for him still once in a while.  But here's a picture of him (from Auntie Rita) before I met him.  He was a great dog.  We will miss him.

28 Month Birthday!

Happy 28 Months birthday to me!  It's been a rather calm month, as compared to the action packed one last month.  One weekend, Grandma and Grandpa wanted to hang out, so we went to the Stanford Shopping Mall to walk around.  Daddy was working, so he didn't get to join us.  But here I am taking a picture with Grandma.

I like copying how Grandpa walks.

Like my new jammies?  Mommy bought this for me a while ago, and we had some chillier nights earlier this month, so I wore these.  So fancy and grown up looking.
One weekend we went to Meagan's house.  She has this cool play house in the backyard.  I was super engrossed in scooping and pouring the pebbles into different containers.  My parents barely even saw me the couple of hours we were there. I was super content.

Alyssa came to visit again.  I was really into this new truck that our grandparents got, so I wasn't paying much attention to her at this point.  But we were initially both super excited when we first saw each other.  She had a big smile when she saw me and said "HI!" and started running towards me.  What can I say?  I'm popular.
Here's a big family picture.  I was getting a bit grouchy because I was tired and I only wanted Mommy to carry me.  Poor Mommy.  I think it's hard for her to carry me now that my little sibling is getting bigger and bigger in her tummy.  Maybe I'm just staking my claim and letting the baby know what's what.

Mommy made me a papaya, strawberry, and yogurt smoothie.  I really liked it.  Like my mustache?
Near the end of the month, we went to Auntie Rita and Uncle Jim's place for our get-together.  It's been a while since we last saw each other.  We kids had a blast running around and chasing each other.  Even Avery joined in on the fun!  She's totally mobile now, though not as fast as me.  And I'm not nearly as fast as Zachary.

Finally, me relaxing on a blanket at daycare.  We had a family day picnic that day, though Daddy couldn't come.  If I find a picture of me and Mommy, I'll post one next time.

Things are just chugging along.  I'm pretty good with the potty training at home (other than nap time and bed time).  I tell my parents when I need to use the potty.  I still haven't done that consistently at school yet though.  I've also had rougher mornings, when I hit and push my friends.  Mommy and Daddy have to remind me everyday not to hit or push anyone.  I still forget though.  My parents hope it's just a phase.

I'm also sleeping in a big boy bed now.  My parents bought me a twin size mattress and I really like it.  They've been saying, "so far so good," though I don't know what could possibly be a problem with me sleeping on a bed that I can climb in and out of.  Anyone?
